Maximum Students: 10
Minimum Age: 17
Recommended Prerequisite: Improv 101
Instructor: Chris Emery

This comprehensive class will teach students the basics of writing for, and performing in, a sketch comedy show similar to SNL, MadTV, Whitest Kids U Know, and Human Giant. You will learn to take those funny ideas and turn them into a live sketch comedy show. Our sketch writing philosophy is similar to our Improv 101 structure. Students will learn to write sketches with a clear focus and pattern. Students will also learn to pitch their ideas, give feedback, and learn how to do basic staging.

Improv 101 is a recommended prerequisite to Sketch 101, but is not required for enrollment.
