Third Saturdays | 8:00PM | Improv | $8
Next Show: August 18

August 18 theme: Surprise!
Since this month’s show was a special surprise for us, we’re celebrating this opportunity with the theme of SURPRISE! The ladies will tell personal stories about times they’ve surprised someone, been surprised, wanted or gave a surprise, surprise parties, shocks, scares, and OMGs!
Sacramento’s longest-running all-female improv troupe uses true stories from the audience and cast members to create a long-form improv show with smart humor, unexpected characters, and guaranteed laughs. After the cast and audience tell stories on a monthly theme, the cast of Lady Business does a series of improvised scenes inspired by the stories.

Terms and Conditions
About our shows: We have many types of shows to appeal to a wide range of comedic tastes, and some styles that may be new to you. Our improv and sketch comedy shows are more like a play or other traditional theatre experience, rather than a stand-up show or nightclub atmosphere. Improv and sketch cast members do not interact with the audience during the performance.

Before booking a large group for a performance, we encourage you to come by in advance and see a show on your own. We might even offer a free ticket for you to sample a show and be sure it is the right fit for your group.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. There are no refunds on classes or shows unless canceled or changed by the venue. Class space is limited, and reservations are final. Please provide a valid telephone number/email address at checkout so we can contact you, if needed. Should you need to transfer to another class start date, please email

Allison is the author of many novels and screenplays, some of which aren’t even imaginary. For work, Allison does marketing for a local software company; for free, Allison watches as much streaming media as possible. Despite the fact that she runs marathons, she much prefers the company of her couch and a glass of wine or bourbon. Don’t let the hat fool you — it’s probably not her birthday.
